In a small town, devout Celine is dragged by three peers into a night of excess at the old abandoned mine. During a meteor shower, they witness the apparition of a luminous figure that miraculously heals Darren’s fractured leg. Convinced they have seen the Virgin Mary, the teenagers try to spread the word — but no one believes them, until the cynical Reverend West realises the faithful want to believe, and builds a business around it.
